About

Mark Riddle is an Australian-American writer of children’s stories and a professional teller of folk tales.  He grew up in rural South Australia (where sheep, wheat and wine come from) before moving up north to Katherine (where Crocodile Dundee comes from).

He ran away to Taiwan in 2005 where he started working with kids as an English-as-a-Second-Language Teacher.  This eventually took him to Turkey, where he met an American and followed her to Michigan and then North Carolina, Oregon and now Memphis.

He holds a Masters in Library Science from the University of North Carolina, has a child, a cat, a dog and a jade plant and is an avid fan of graphic novels and Lego.
